Sweet Smiling Landscapes creates landscape designs that are as artful as they are ecologically sound, specializing in edible and native plant landscapes. With formal education in sculpture as well as sustainable horticulture, I see landscape design as an opportunity to create a living piece of art that serves to improve the local ecology. As a California licensed landscape contractor, EPA-certified Water Wise designer, certified permaculture designer, and certified Green Gardener I am committed to garden design that is drought tolerant and fire-wise, and that also require minimal maintenance. I carefully consider ways to blend the wants and needs of my clients with the specifications of their property in each project I undertake.
