  “I was recommended to Antebi by the President of an HOA for a neighboring Condo complex that is currently using their services. I am almost without words as I write this review...I have NEVER been treated this way as a potential customer for any service and by the owner of the company no less! I initially spoke to Bella for roughly 15 minutes on Thursday, May 21st telling her what we were looking for (at the start, getting our Town home complex, which consists of 4 units back into shape and then scheduling bi-weekly maintenance). We do not have an HOA and I am the decision maker in this process. After a week of waiting and not hearing from her I called her back and very politely asked how things were coming. She told me that they do not give estimates and she was concerned that if they come out and look we will end up going to another company so it wouldn’t have been worth her time (that is the abridged version of her speech to me). I sat there with my mouth on the floor in complete shock that the OWNER of a business would tell me that. I told her I was disappointed to hear that because I had not called anyone else and had completely intended to use Antebi as long as the price wasn't completely outrageous. I also told her the importance of the bid was because this is my first home owning experience and I have never hired for this sort of service before. It is hard for me (or anyone I imagine) to commit to paying for something when you are given absolutely zero feedback on what you are about to spend. When I expressed my disappointment in her handling of the situation (again in a very calm voice) she told me that I need to find someone else because we don’t want to work with you followed up a click...yes, this professional business owner just hung up on me. I am still playing this situation over in my head completely stunned and very confused by what triggered her antagonistic and surly behavior. I guess it was completely unreasonable of me to think that I might actually expect a ballpark figure as to how much money I am about to spend BEFORE I agree to have the work done. Is landscaping the type of industry where one cannot expect a simple estimate on price before you purchase. Anyone who could treat someone as Bella has treated me does not deserve my business or anyone else’s!”
