    “I cannot praise McGee Landscaping enough for completion of a retaining wall that exceeded my expectations. They were responsive, professional, provided great recommendations, expert workmanship, excellent crew, and great clean up everyday. The entire process was painless from setting app't., timeliness of showing for estimate app't., follow thru of estimate, responsiveness to concerns and recommendations, keeping me abreast of time elements in starting the job thru its completion, providing a very efficient & professional work crew, and additionally estimator, Nick, showing up at job completion to make sure I was satisfied. The clean up every day was above and beyond what you would expect from the normal contractor. This is from experience in owning a home for over 25+ years and dealing with several contractors throughout the years.
    I would highly recommend and plan on utilizing them for on-going landscape maintenance. Gloria, the owner, was very responsive in texts throughout the entire process.
    I cannot praise them enough and thoroughly enjoy viewing the beautiful piece of craftsmanship they added to a bland retaining wall in my backyard.”

    “My sister was getting married and we had only two weeks before the wedding. It was not such a big mulching job but Mcgee understood how terrible our yard looked and tried to accomodate us. They are so wonderful and understanding. I would recommend them to everyone but ofcourse try not to give them so much pressure as i did. They cant control mother nature.”

    “I am a very busy person but i took time to get several quotes from different contractors. I had my entire landscaping done front and back by McGee. They were not the cheapest but certainly they are worth the price. They leave your home every single day clean and organized. They keep in touch with you to see if you have any questions and to see if you are happy with everything. I can not thank them enough for all their attention to detail.”

    “Giving one star only because zero stars isn't an option. We first hired McGee several years ago to have our front yard landscaped. They did a great job. Since then, we've hired them several times, and we've had mixed experiences. Like others have said, we've had times where they take the deposit, and vanish. I'm in the middle of one of those now -- I first contacted them in early February, finally got a quote at the end of the month, gave them a deposit on March 2 for work that was supposed to be done on the 4th or the 7th...and haven't seen them since. Rain has delayed things, but that doesn't explain three weeks, nor does it explain why they have NEVER contacted me when they weren't going to be able to be there as scheduled. They were supposed to be here today -- no show, and no reply to my two voice mails and one email.

    Meanwhile, the shrubs are starting to bud and every other crape myrtle in the neighborhood was trimmed weeks, if not months, ago.

    Further, part of what I need them to do is fix the terrible way they planted my tree last year. I can't just walk away because if I have to get someone else to do this work, I'm going to probably have to pay for the tree a second time.

    I'll update this review if this situation is ultimately resolved satisfactorily, but at this point, I'm not optimistic.”

    “I had a representative from McGee come to give me and estimate on a drainage situation that other landscaping companies had giving me bids for. Eric from McGee was so honest with us and informed us that there was not way a landscaping company could solve an issue like that and explained why. I was so in shock because he could of taken advantage of our ignorance and we truly appreciate that. We did not get any work done then but later we did a huge patio in the back done by McGee and truly love it. This is the type of relationship i want from a company. Thanks McGee. You are the best.”

    “If you want to spend a fortune, get horrible customer service, and be treated like you know nothing, get McGee. The employers are voracious money-grabbers who don't care what the customer thinks/wants/needs. I would NOT recommend them to anyone. Beware of what you sign up for! Have heard of other customers that are asked to pay in full up front...then suddenly they can't get in touch with anyone from McGee. Bad business all around. Spend your money elsewhere.”

    “Like Unhappy Customer of November 19, we too have had the exact same experience. We used McGee this spring and summer for several jobs which were completed much to our satisfaction. We gave them a $1,700 deposit on work to be done early this fall. We cannot locate them and get no response to our calls or e-mails.
    I would like to talk to Unhappy Customer of November 19 so we could compare notes. We are beginning an investigation of what has happened to these people and their company.”

    “McGee Landscaping has provided us with exceptional service on 3 major landscaping/hardscaping projects for our home. Most recently we were requested to pay in full, in advance for a patio rennovation. Since we had exceptional service in the past we did not view this request out of the ordinary. We have not heard from McGee Landscaping after the payment was received. Phone calls (home, cell, business) and emails to schedule installation have not been returned. Very dissappointed with the lack of professional courtesy. It has been over 2 months. Be cautious of a request to pay in full. Would not recommend.”

    “Oh really, well I've used them for the past 7 years and they have been the best to work with. I have done $45,000 worth of renovation the first year and yearly maintenance every year since. They are the best. Of course there are some people that you can never satisfy (no matter what) and I am not the only one that feels this way because my whole neighborhood deals with them and it is not that they are arrogant, they do know what they are talking about or else why do you hire them. Just do it yourself.”
