Offshoots is a hybrid practice offering landscape installation, fine gardening, landscape maintenance, landscape architecture and design. We focus on creating sustainable, ecologically connected landscapes that are lower maintenance, organic and less resource-intensive with horticulture innovation. Public and residential landscapes in the US are typically driven by aesthetics, often consuming excessive amounts fossil fuels, water and natural resources. We believe there is a different way. We create landscapes that require less water and contribute to natural ecologies. Offshoots also provides phytoremediation consulting (using plants to cleanup contaminated sites.)
